I stumbled upon these great peep-toe booties from J.Crew for spring and instantly loved them. But then I remember another pair of  booties from Prada last year that looked remarkably similar. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Love Your Face

13Feb11

This clarisonic combo from Bliss is unbelievable and it works great on dry skin. Perfect for the winter months! Although pricey, this machine will last you a lifetime and give you that post-facial glow without having to spend the money on monthly facials.

This easy 70′s style white silk dress from Theory is just lovely. It reminds me of something Veronica Corningstone from Anchorman would wear (I just re-watched the movie for the millionth time.) Add a little funk to this look but pairing it with a multi-strand necklace or even make it work-appropriate by topping it with a fitted blazer.

This draped blue dress from Gap is the perfect dress for a transition from winter to spring. The constellation blue color is a nice departure from winter black and the side zip and ruching are extremely flattering. The best part? The price!

Brooklyn Decker may be the less known star in the new Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston comedy but after her appearance on the red carpet last night, she is one fashionista to watch. Although Jennifer picked her go-to easy California cool look, Brooklyn vamped it up in a fitted Dolce & Gabbana Leopard dress with purple suede pumps. So sexy and yet she seems approachable at the same time. Maybe it’s the ponytail?

Disclosure: This is a partnered post but all of the opinions are mine.

Now every girl across the country can have her designer wedding dress moment, even on the slimmest wedding budget. Vera Wang and David’s Bridal have teamed up for a collection that is flawless and has that effortless and romantic look that all brides desire.  These wedding dresses and accessories are a part of the White by Vera Wang collection that will be available next Friday, February 11th.

Here are some of my favorites!

For The Romantic Bride

My favorite gown is this strapless satin-faced organza a-line gown with hand appliquéd lace. This gown is reminiscent of the gown (also Vera Wang) that Ivanka Trump wore to her wedding at a fraction of the price. At just $1,300, this gown will be perfect for a garden or country club wedding and it will look light and airy in the summer or it would look lovely at a ski resort paired with a warm fur stole.  The illusion sleeve pieces is included but it can be removed (maybe after the church!)

The sash is sold separate but at $58, its also a great buy! A great idea is to wear the dress sash-less for the ceremony and then add it for the reception to glam up your look without having to change your whole look.

For The Modern Bride

Another one of my favorite looks (and a bit more modern for Ms.Wang), is this one-shoulder structured fit and flare with a dropped waist and a full skirt made of organza for $1,200. The belt is not included with this gown but I think it adds a bit more glamour to this uptown look (for $148 it’s a great price and you can wear it again over your favorite LBD). This gown will look great at a downtown hotel, paired with chic hair and satin gloves.

Don’t Forget Accessories!

Even ladies on a budget shouldn’t forget about the finishing touches on your bridal look – your accessories. Thankfully Vera Wang and David’s Bridal will have that available as well come February 11th. From headbands, to belts, to veils, they have thought of every bride.

One of my favorites is the Crystal Hair Comb. This will look great for the bride who wants to add a bit of glamour to her understated look. This comb will look great above a low bun or even as an accoutrement to old Hollywood waves. For $128, this comb would be great to save for future friends to lend out as their “something borrowed”.

Are you walking down a dramatic aisle? This two-tiered veil will take any bride’s look from eveningwear to bridal glamour. This chapel length veil with raw cut edge and lace appliqué is a statement piece and it will look stunning gliding down the aisle.
